Shawarma Joint in Champaign, IL

Oh boy, were these fries good. Shawarma Joint's thick, crispy fries are easily the richest I've reviewed so far. The seasoning is subtle; the texture is really what shines. In another review I recommended dipping fries in tzatziki, and I'm going to encourage the same here. They stand well on their own, but with the creaminess of tzatziki we've got perfection. I saved some in my fridge for the next day (a risky move, I know) and they were still fantastic, albeit a bit chewier. 5 fries out of 5.
